1. Introduction

GeraLearn is operated by Gera Systems (registered in England and Wales). These Terms govern use of geralearn.com and our mobile applications by learners and instructors.

2. Our Services

GeraLearn is an online learning marketplace where independent instructors create and sell courses to learners globally. We are an intermediary platform — instructors are responsible for their course content and quality.

3. Learner Terms

  • Minimum age 16 (under 16 requires parental consent)
  • Enrolled courses are for personal, non-commercial use only
  • Do not share access to paid courses with others
  • Do not copy, redistribute, or reproduce course content without permission
  • Certificates are issued upon completion and represent course achievement only — they are not accredited qualifications unless explicitly stated

Refunds: Full refund within 30 days of purchase if less than 30% of the course is completed. Statutory cancellation rights (14 days under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) apply where digital content has not yet been accessed.

4. Instructor Terms

Instructors confirm they:

  • Own or are authorised to use all content in their courses (video, text, images, code)
  • Will accurately describe course content, level, and expected outcomes
  • Will keep course content current and respond to student questions within 7 days
  • Will not include offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
  • Accept GeraLearn's revenue share as shown in the Instructor Dashboard
  • Are responsible for their own tax obligations on earnings

Instructors with a student satisfaction rating below 3.5 may have listings suspended pending review.

5. Payment Terms

Payments via Stripe. GeraLearn retains a platform fee on each course sale (shown in the Instructor Dashboard). Instructor payouts are issued monthly, 30 days after the student's refund window expires.

6. GeraCoins

Learners earn GeraCoins for completing courses and achieving milestones. GeraCoins can be redeemed across the Gera Systems ecosystem. GeraCoins have no cash value and may not be sold or transferred.

7. Intellectual Property

Instructors retain copyright in their course content. By publishing on GeraLearn, they grant Gera Systems a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and promote the content. “GeraLearn” is a trademark of Gera Systems.

8. Limitation of Liability

Liability limited to amounts paid in the prior three months or £50. Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights are unaffected. We do not warrant that course certificates are accepted by any specific employer or institution.
